Episode 4: Past life sweetheart

Xi Wei ask Ya Li did he have any feelings towards Hai Lin, and telling Ya Li that He thinks Hai Lin is not that bad. Ya Li just reply that there is no spark between them, anyway Hai Lin still have someone whom she love dearly, her ex-boyfriend.

During the convo, Xi Wei get a phone call telling him that their important customer JES is cancelling their order. So XI Wei think using this opportunity they can just bring their plan forward changing company structure, making their own brand of bicycle. Xi Wei then announce in regards of the news and his plan. After they factor in all the problem and the risk making their own brand during this time, therefore Xi Wei say they must work hard and Ya Li say that anyone who can perform adequately will be compensated not only able to join Plus Team but also increase in wages.

Hai Lin say to make this road-worthy bicycle(?) is their any documents that they can used as a reference. Xi Wei say that their is a blue print but because of some accident it is partially damage. Hai Lin flashback, to where Xi Wei present a manuscript and a blueprint (the thing that Xi Wei save during the fire accident). At the present time Xi Wei announces therefor they need a designer that can make not only vehicle but an attitude.

Xi Wei then take out the blueprint and say to daddy that he have take the first step, making towards his father dream nearer. But Xi Wei also doubt himself saying that the dream dad could not even accomplish can he really realised it.

You Xi miscalled as Xi Wei take a late night stroll in the park. Hai Lin seem troubled, telling herself that she make decision to give up everything going back to before love to protect Xi Wei, but now why seeing him making her can't give up. At the park Xi Wei once again meet Hai Lin. Hai Lin ask today you come to the park again, is there any kind of trouble weight-down his mind. Xi Wei say yes it is in regards of the company changing for the better. He say that Tordano used to be only a factory but after his father took over it changed, Xi Wei also asked Hai Lin did she know his father biggest dream. Hai Lin say is it the only one, but telling him he also have take measures to achieve it now. Xi Wei say but then they lack of the leading product. Xi Wei also ask did you still remember the blueprint that he talk about earlier, and say that at his house there is two important thing one is grandfather most treasured manuscript and the other one is the blueprint itself. Hai Lin then flashback to the fire accident, then at present time asking Xi Wei is it possible to salvage the blue print and Xi Wei say yes as long as there is a designer that willing to collaborate with him. Xi Wei only then remembered that he is not supposed to say that much. Hai Lin say no problem he don't have to say anything, but as long as he have dreams he will always be able to fulfil his dream as all of them will help him.

Xi Wei ask Hai Lin why she come to the park again today is there anything that she worry about? Hai Lin say no she just come here for a walk. Xi Wei say that it is very unfair he talk about his. Xi Wei say then he make a guess is it related with his boyfriend again? He also say that Ya Li told him that she is still unable to forget his ex boyfriend. He is very curious about her ex, what kind of person he is that she is unable to forget. Hai Lin stare intensely at Xi Wei before replying all the good kinds of thing about him, also telling him that as long as he set his goal he will put all his effort. Xi Wei also say that in this case you love him so much why breakup? Hai Lin tell herself it is because she want to protect him that she make that kind of decision. Xi Wei warn her not to tell something like their fate has come to an end it is only an excuse. Xi Wei also remind her that didn't she say that aa long as people put all their effort in they will be able to realise their goal? Hai Lin say that her problem is not she want or not but it is can or not. Xi Hai say nothing is can or not, as long as she like him just tell him rather than sitting here thinking about the past. Hai Lin say stop asking as it will be unfair to her then.

Xi Wei then return to You Xi call, telling her that he meet Hai Lin at the park. He also say that accidentally he meet her at the same place twice already, also telling her that Hai Lin not in a very good mood because of her ex boyfriend. You Xi also say can she make Hai Lin become their bridesmaid, as Hai Lin is her sister and they are just a month old different. You Xi also want to show Hai Lin that Xi Wei is hers.

Next day, You Xi show up at tornado office looking for Hai Lin for lunch.At the restaurant, You Xi say that the lunch will be on her, and also told her to be their bridesmaid. Hai Lin say that she did not fit to be bridesmaid as she have no experience, and You Xi say is it because she is to forward. Hai Lin notice something is not right and ask You xi, You Xi reply her that Xi Wei told her that he meet Hai Lin second time at the river beside the park. Asking Hai Lin did she purposely wait at their to meet Hai lin. Hai Lin reply that she have no intention to do any harm to their relationship. You Xi say then why you make-up a lie in regard of her ex boyfriend, did Hai Lin do this to get XI Wei pity? Hai Lin say I did not have to reply to this kind of things as it is personal matter but Hai Lin also renmind You Xi that if she did have any intention to broke them apart she will tell everyone that she is the one who safe Xi Wei and You XI lied about it.
You Xi: You dare?
Hai Lin: Of course I dare.]
You Xi: Then you dare to tell me that you did not like Lu Xi Wei?
Hai Lin: I did not have to reply to this kind of question. Also I remind you that I did not intent to intervene you guys.
You Xi told Hai Lin then show it to her by becoming their bridesmaid. You XI also want Hai Lin blessing as sisters. Hai Lin say she will become their bridesmaid if it give assurance to You Xi

Hai Lin then remember the wise man saying, consider it wisely change did not mean happiness. Hai Lin reply to the wise min that time, that she did not need happiness as long but she wish happiness for Xi Wei.

Hai Lin try out her bridesmaid gown. You Xi told her to sit and look after her belonging as she will try out the wedding dress.Xi Wei complements Hai Lin that she look beautiful in the dress, so did Hai Lin. You Xi ask Xi Wei how did she look, Xi Wei reply her that it is very pretty also it bring out her character. You Xi say okay then it will be one of them. You Xi ask Hai Lin did their attire match each other, and Hai Lin say yes and also excuses herself to change as she feel uncomfortable. As Hai Lin and Xi Wei change their attire, You Xi wanted to put a ring at Hai Lin bag but then she change her mind and take Hai Lin phones.

Ying Ying and Ya Li back at the studio, and Hai Lin say that didn't Ying Ying promise that to accompany her to try out the dress? Xi Hai come out and ask Hai Lin did she send him this massage "Don't you think that I'm able to help you more compare to my sister". Hai Lin check her phone and say no I did not. You Xi come out and say what happened and Xi Wei say no just some kind of junk msg. They all change back to their normal clothed, and You XI say thank you for today and say that they will treat them for lunch. Hai Lin say no thank you and dismiss herself. You Xi ask Xi Wei what is the msg really about is it just really junk email? You Xi told Xi Wei that she heard everything inside and want to know more about the msg. You XI say that they cannot be sister and from small Hai Lin never get proper education, from small she have to work to feed her mother and seeing Xi Wei with such a good qualification of course Hai Lin wants it. Xi Wei told You Xi not to say something so absurd her own sister.

Grandfather called Xi Wei and told him to come over. Xi Wei and You Xi come together. G-pa say that he only told Xi Wei to come, Xi Wei say that they are together trying bridal clothes. G-pa say I don’t care who you propose to, but not everybody can become Lu family daughter in law. You Xi say that she brought g-pa favorite snack, Xi Wei dismiss her to the kitchen to prepare. They first talk about the company, wanting to make their own product. Xi Wei told g-pa that he will use father blueprint and G-pa say that he did not wish Xi Wei turn into someone like his dad. His did even cannot realized his own dream how can Xi Wei. Xi Wei say I can and ask for the manuscript. G-pa say he can give Xi Wei the manuscript but in return Xi Wei have to promise him that if he fail to do so Xi Wei is not getting married with You Xi if he can do what ever he wants. Xi Wei agrees to g-pa challenge while You Xi eavesdropping the whole conversation from the stairs. G-pa told Xi Wei he live longer than Xi Wei so he can judge people more accurate and You Xi is not as simple as Xi Wei think.

You Xi ask Xi Wei what did they talk about just now. Xi Wei say nothing just company matter. You XI ask Xi Wei how long should she wait to get g-pa approval and Xi Wei say don’t bother too much just be a good bride. You Xi say she believe Xi Wei able to accomplish the mission and make You Xi his bride. You Xi get a called from the bridal shop and say that she will take all the gown because she did not like other people to try the dress.

Fei Fei give Hai Lin some sweet but Hai Lin turn down. Fei Fei ask did she really not the one who send the msg? Hai Lin say no, she is not that kind of person and also Xi Wei is her brother-in-law. Fei Fei say truthfully from the day GM come, anything related to GM Hai Lin will do anything. Jia Jia then ask who send the msg is it You Xi, since phone cannot send msg themselves. Fei Fei also warn Hai Lin be careful of You Xi since she is someone who can pull this kind of trick, and say You XI have no rights to be marry GM.

During the meeting, Xi Wei bring out the blueprint and the workers take a look, and they ask how old is the blur print and Xi Wei surprised them by saying it is 20yrs old. Frank say how come, it seems to be using the recent technology. Xi Wei say yes that is the interesting part of it, the designer are able to think of it far before it. The manager comes to the meeting room bringing drinks, but she accidently spill the drink on top of the blueprint. Hai Lin pull the blueprint quickly and say to the manager that it is the thing Xi Wei save from the fire place……*unconsciously speaking*

Xi Wei is surprised how come Hai Lin know since he never talk about it to anyone, also You Xi did not like to mention about the fire incident. Hai Lin make excuses that she guess based from the appearance of the blueprint.

Xi Wei say that they need to realize this blueprint therefore they we need someone who is willing to incorporate their design with Xi Wei’s. Xiao Q suggest Fang Qi Xiang, but then Frank say it is impossible since it have been a year that Qi Xiang stop taking any cases.

After the meeting ends, Hai Lin ask Xiao Q about Qi Xiang is he really that hard to reach and Xiao Q say yes. Xi Wei enter the meeting room and told Xiao Q to leave the room. Xi Wei actually did not take Hai Lin excuses at face value. Xi Wei say that he did not care if Hai Lin want to understand more about him, he also cannot control it but Xi Wei told her to keep in mind that he is her future brother-in-law. Hai Lin say that she never have any intention to to do any harm and that msg she is not the one who send it. Xi Wei say stop lying and Hai Lin say she never lie. Xi Wei say he know that Hai Lin envy You Xi, but the using this to break them apart can Hai Lin really get happiness.

Hai Lin stroll around, Xi Wei have gotten his happiness and her wish come true already why should she cry when she is only being misunderstood.

Hai Lin teaches kids ballet, and a guy sees her from above. After the class end Hai Lin go to a café and order drinks, the guy sit in front of her. Hai Lin say Fang Qi Xiang (Nylon Chen, Four Gifts), and he ask back you recognize me? Hai Lin say yes your are well known designer. He ask why Hai Lin still teaches ballet when her feet is hurt, Hai Lin say how come he know. Hai Lin say that for her ballet is the happiest thing in her life. At this point Xi Wei and Ya Li stand at the back café counter, and Ya Li recognize Qi Xiang. Ya Li say see she like you, if this did not count as love then what is called love? Xi Hai say not to speak nonsense.

Qi Xiang ask though Hai Lin hurt her feet and unable to dance anymore did she still find ballet interesting? Hai Lin say that at a point she want to make ballet her lifetime profession because ballet is very beautiful, but though now she is unable to do it even better it will still be her hobby. Hai Lin will not give up just because she is unable to do it properly. Qi Xiang say he found the best teacher for his kids, and told her that he own and fund the studio she used before.

Hai Lin give her name card to QI Xiang hoping that Qi Xiang will help Tornado. Hai Lin say that Xi Wei want to accomplish his father dream so on and so for. Xi Wei is surprised that Hai Lin know so much about him. Ya Li say Hai Lin will do everything in her strength to help and now Xi Wei have a new fan. Hai Lin say consider the offer, and Qi Xiang reply don’t even think about it. Hai Lin think that Qi Xiang agree about it but actually he is not. Qi Xiang say that they have some kind of fate, so he will keep her business card first, and also tell Hai Lin to stop bringing design topic up again. Hai Lin ask why, and Qi xiang if you know the reason so what you won’t be able to change anything.

Xi Wei told Ya li to contact Qi Xiang PA. Xi Wei also say that something is not connecting, and Ya li ask what and told him “I’m your special assistant, therefore I will give you special help/assistant.” Xi Wei say that he is curious about Hai Lin real character, sometimes he feel that Hai Lin trying to seduce him but sometimes he also feel that Hai Lin willing to help him in anyway. Ya Li say with his understanding Hai Lin is very simple/pure, but sometimes Hai Lin is a little bit strange she understand Xi Wei like a fans and looking at her eye expression there is love, like filled with regret. Ya Li also say that it is like past life sweetheart, so if it is like what Ya Li say then both of them previously in love with each other.

My Opinion

How can I not love Ya Li.. Everyone in the drama is god damn smart, except our main OTP. They are able to connect the missing part and jump into conclusion faster than our main OTP. I know it is hard for Xi Wei to connect and jump into the confusion since he is not having memory loss but he never experience it in the present time. So now all I can hope is Xi Wei fell something is not right with You Xi.. Who need several dresses just for a wedding reception? Also Xi Wei should notice You Xi is eavesdropping his convo with G-pa..
