Episode 5: For Only Love

Hai Lin ask for Qi Xiang contact and personal info but the other teacher unwilling to tell, later on Miao Miao (one of Hai Lin ballet student) told Hai Lin that before Qi Xiang come by frequently but not after Yu Xiang teacher die. Hai Lin ask how long has it been and Miao Miao reply almost a year already. Hai Lin also ask for if Miao Miao have Qi Xiang contact number, Miao Miao say not but instead she will bring Hai Lin somewhere. Miao Miao ring Qi Xiang house bell.

Qi Xiang tell Hai Lin if she is coming for designing then the answer will still be the same, Hai Lin told him to reconsider but Qi Xiang told him to finish her cake asap then go home. Miao Miao want to visit the 'cat' and told Qi Xiang to come over so Hai Lin wander around herself. Hai Lin see Qi Xiang sketch and the music box that XI Wei once give her and flashback to those happy times.

Qi Xiang see this and yell at Hai Lin of having no manner touching other people things, and Miao Miao in Hai Lin defines mode. Qi Xiang apologise coz he is a little bit emotional since the music box hold important meaning. 

Hai Lin: My ex boyfriend also give me exactly the same music box.

Qi Xiang: A very touching excuse.

Hai Lin: No matter how it is like it is unlikely that I will used my most painful memories to trade in for your trust.

Hai Lin and Miao Miao excuses themselves.

Hai Lin ask Miao Miao why she look unhappy, and Miao Miao say that Qi Xiang have change a lot  before he will not get angry, Miao Miao beg Hai Lin to change Qi Xiang like before. 

Xi Wei called Hai Lin. Xi Wei told Hai Lin that he already know that Hai Lin meet Qi Xiang and ask if there is any improvement. Hai Lin say no it is still the same. Qi Xiang say no problem and still thank Hai Lin for all her effort. Xi Wei ask from the pervert client, the blueprint, and now FQX is Hai Lin just really an administrative assistant coz her enthusiasm and devotion towards the company is not less than him. Hai Lin say that before she just work and work (like casual/partime) but this is her first stable job, so for her this is what she should do. Xi Wei ask Hai Lin if there is anything she hide from him. Hai Lin can only stare. Xi Wei continue and say that he heard all her conversation with Qi Xiang at the cafe and it surprised him more than at the meeting & blueprint, all the thing Hai Lin say is more than what an employee should understand. Hai Lin just say she told him before that she won't interfere him and You Xi.

Xi Wei: Did I make you remember of someone? Your ex-boyfriend? Sorry, I shouldn't have been that straight forward, but I just can't think of any better reason.

Hai Lin: GM you think too much.

Xi Wei: I did not mean to blame you. I just want to understand you and wish that you did not stop at the past, you can lead a better life.

Hai Lin: forever you'll not understand me, coz forever I'll never let you know what had happened to me in the past. Choosing to live in the past is my own choice but rest assure i'll never let you feel disturbed.

Xi Wei: I have no other intention, I hope you good/ okay.

Hai Lin: Thank You, if you want the best for me then stop asking me, don't care about me anymore. Coz my life what left is just the past. Thank You, I'll go home first.

You Xi mother asking about the wedding preparation over a meal. Her mom yell at her for dragging the wedding, all the relatives is asking when is the d-day already. You Xi say coz Xi Wei is very busy and she did not want to throw a simple party, and promise her mom that she will throw and extravagant wedding to give mom face/reputation. Her mom then say not she want to rush the wedding, but if You Xi did not tie Xi Wei asap then if one day he ran away what hpnd? You Xi then say that Xi wei is not that kind of person, he's just really busy these days. Her mom adding fuel say that isn't Hai Lin working at the same office, and remind You Xi not to forget that Hai Lin have that women (mistress) blood flowing inside her and they are expert in breaking other people marriage.

You XI bring Xi Wei to hospital for respiratory checkup and control after the fire accident. You XI ask Xi Wei if that time she is not the one who save him from the fire incident will he still love her that much. Xi Wei say why asking unreasonable question, You Xi say she just wanted to know. Xi Wei ask why did you keep doubting his love towards You Xi, and if she is not the one who save him then who is? or is it like what Ya Li say it is Hai Lin who save him. You Xi ask how is the bicycle progress and Xi Wei say they are working on it. You Xi say that his company have work with several others it should't be that hard to create something more spectacular. Xi Wei say that in that bicycle there is Xi Wei and his father relationship and G-pa expectation, therefore Xi Wei want to realise it. You Xi then ask what happened if forever it will not be realised then will they forever never get married.Xi Wei say just be patient he will not let her wait for long. Xi Wei also ask why Hai Lin know about him very much, You Xi is surprised and told him that she told Hai Lin coz they never have any topic to bring up and only Xi Wei that they both recognise.

You Xi meet Hai Lin at the office lobby, and You Xi ask Hai Lin a favour for requesting resignation once again from the company and say that though Hai Lin hurt her feet she is still interested in dance then Hai Lin could become one of her acquaintance assistant. Hai Lin ask did she do anything that make You Xi unhappy. You Xi say that Hai Lin intentionally approaches Xi Hai how can she not. Hai Lin say that she told her before that she did not plan to interfere and ask You Xi why she is feeling lack of security. You Xi say things is told that way but Hai Lin display is totally different, and told Hai Lin that Xi Wei told her everything like doing background check and his past. You Xi told Hai Lin that Xi Wei feel disturbed by Hai Lin action, and told her that no matter what she do Xi Wei will not like Hai Lin. Hai Lin say that if you true love than You Xi did not have to be afraid, and regarding the resignation she is sorry she is unable to do that and ask based on what You Xi told her to do that kind of thing. You Xi say no problem she look for just to give her some face for the last time, she won't quit no problem all she have is method to make her leave, like the message. Finally after 5eps, Hai Lin address You XI by her name not older sister anymore. Fei Fei witness this exchange all the time.

Fei Fei ask why happened and did she have no right at all as a friend to share her burden, so Hai Lin say it is not like that but things is very complicated. Fei Fei say you do not have to tell me I also can guess, You Xi tell her not to approach Xi Wei and Hai Lin say Yes. Fei Fei ask Hai Lin did she like Xi Wei and Hai Lin say no, Fei Fei say everyone can look and tell that Hai Lin like Xi Wei only Hai Lin herself is still in denial. Fei Fei say that she understand Hai Lin feeling so did she plan to snatch away Xi Wei, and Hai Lin reply her that she never think it that way. Fei Fei say don't like Xi Wei anymore, Hai Lin say if loving over people can be control then it will be perfect. Hai Lin told Fei Fei the only thing she want right now is to persuade Qi Xiang the rest she did not want anymore.

Hai Lin read Qi Xiang interview, and visit Qi Xiang house waiting from day till night in rain and finally Qi Xiang show up. Hai Lin say she come to his house to say sorry for visit last time. Xi Qiang say no problem, last time his speaking manner is also not that good and say that it is all already in the past. Hai Lin give Qi Xiang tornado portfolio and told him to see it. Qi Xiang told her many times already that his opinion have not change and say that many designer out there that can do better job than him. Hai Lin say that it is not true his design carry emotion and quote his line from the interview she read before which say something like design should be based from the bottom of the heart not to compare which one is better, and say that his statement is the same as Tornado mission no wonder their GM want QI Xiang that bad. Qi Xiang say tell ur GM not to do till kind of thing that make things difficult for their employee, and Hai Lin say that she did it based on her own initiative. Hai Lin also say that she know currently his condition is not that good and that they will wait for him, angry Qi Xiang ask what did Hai Lin mean by that. Qi Xiang keep pestering Hai Lin question when she is feeling unwell, and Hai Lin collapse.

Hai Lin having nightmare having flashback of the car accident and reciting "do not leave me" all the time, and Qi Xiang feel bad about it. Hai Lin wake up and told Qi Xiang that she felt sorry that she is being troublesome, QI Xiang told Hai Lin that if she feel uncomfortable she should have just go home. Hai Lin say that she could not give up to any hope easily, and Qi Xiang ask if whether Xi Wei is her boyfriend, Hai Lin say no. QI Xiang say then it is weird Hai Lin do more than an employee should why would Hai Lin do like that. Hai Lin say it is because of love, because of herself, because of her only love, and ask Qi Xiang didn't he give-up on design because of his only love? Qi Xiang say is it the little devil Miao Miao told her, and Hai Lin say she is the one who ask and say sorry of it make him feel uncomfortable. Qi Xiang say no problem story have been told and also the thing have happened more than a year ago and say that he did not care that much already.

Telling do not care is just to let other people hear, this kind of thing it could not be put to rest/let go. You can pretend to be strong like nothing has happened, though you might be able to fool others but your heart know that days without him is different already. 

- Hai Lin

Hai Lin told QI Xiang that the same thing happened to her as well, she lost her most important and affectionate person, my ex-boyfriend. QI Xiang ask how long ago was that and Hai Lin say % years ago.. Qi Xiang expression stunned and freezes from the start of their convo. Qi Xiang say it is hard to think how she get through it, Hai Lin say that actually she never get through it but then she realised that though living means would receive many pain but only by living then you can get the good things. Qi Xiang ask good thing? and Hai Lin say yes though there might not be much but it is still better than nothing and she hope that QI Xiang could cheer up quickly. And Qi Xiang just smirk.., and say cheer up/stand quickly then help you guys design? *hehehe* Hai Lin say that because of his saying it make her feel selfish but then she say give her a bit of hope. and they both hold bitter laugh??

Xi Wei and You Xi looking at estate, and You Xi it is not bad but feel a bit small. Gold-digger!! U want your newlywed house as big as a castle meh? You Xi say there is something she like to discuss with Xi Wei and say that a few days ago she meet with Hai Lin and say the not did she only feel that Hai Lin like him that simple but also have some kind of weird kind of addiction. Xi Wei say that he also can see through it and say that Hai Lin make him like her ex-bf. You Xi so they need to transfer her to another post so that Hai Lin won't be expecting something beyond expectation from Xi Wei and hurt herself afterwards. Xi Wei say what You Xi say is right but he did not have any great reason to transfer her. You XI say that to make someone forget the past the best way is not to be implicated with each other, also since Xi Wei cannot give her anything then why not broke her expectation earlier, then this is helping her. Xi Wei say that he will think about it.

Ya Li inform Xi Wei that finally after a week waiting in front of the office, Qi Xiang finally show up 30secs earlier.. Xi Wei and Qi Xiang finally meet, and QI Xiang only have one question why should he help to design? And Xi Wei based on this blueprint that is 20yrs old. bla bla bla.... but Qi Xiang still reject it, and in doubt when Xi Wei say that not only he is looking for professional but also some one who is willing to put in feelings and told Qi Xiang that his product have feelings and provoke Qi Xiang by saying that maybe he stop designing because he is unable to put more feelings in his product..

Ya Li say how is it? Qi Xiang say not sure but at least there is some hope. Xi Wei aunt call him and invite him over for dinner. Auntie ask how is Tornado situation currently, Xi Wei say they are trying their best to solve it. Uncle say best to because everyone know that Lu Group is Tornado back-up and if anything go wrong Lu group share price will be effected. Uncle and Untie discuss should't it be the right time to call Xiang Kai (their son) back to help the group since the burden Xi Wei handling is bigger and bigger since the last two years. G-pa ask will Xiang Kai able to handle all the responsibility, and advise Xi Wei to sort tornado matter asap since there is more people wanting his position. 

Qi Xiang see his work, award, memories, and recall his convo with Hai Lin when she touch the ballet figurine.

The manager told Hai Lin to bring the document for Xi wei to sign, unwillingly she bring it up. Xi Wei see her from the back and recall what You Xi told him previously and decide to let her sit. Xi Wei told Hai Lin that Lu group invested in resort and the design team lack of leader and ask if she is interested. Hai Lin say that did he want to transfer her, and Xi Wei say no it is to develop her ability. Hai Lin ask is it because he feel harass because he thinks that Hai Lin is checking on him. Xi Wei say no it is not but he feels that this way will be better off for her. 

Hai Lin say: based on what you think it is better for me, you're GM and I'm only small small employee you can not care about me right? If you do not like to see me than you can tell me as it is and do not bother to tell her what is better for her.

Xi Wei say that he did not have any intention but think... But Hai Lin continue his sentence and say think that I see my ex-bf in you, and rest assured that you are not the same as my ex by a bit, you forever will not be him. Hai Lin also told Xi Wei that if he want to walk away then she will as she did not need anyone sympathy, so she will just resign.

My Opinion:

Actually Xi Wei always feel bad when he doubt Hai Lin.., but the problem with this damn guy is that he can never think his brain only function if it is work.. If it is work his brain function faster than anyone but with his love life he is the most stupid he can only take in what other people say and then deliver it to Hai Lin and afterwards or even that split second regret it *I think he regret*. Can't wait till Xiang Kai appear and make Xi Wei jealous... As for Qi Xiang now he can look at a new and better prospect that in this life he is not the only one who is hurt but someone else is also the same as him., so I hope that through his encounter with Hai Lin they are able to gain enough courage and strength to open the new calendar of their life and see that actually in front of them all kind of good things and memories is awaiting for them.. Aww for You Xi, I only have two word for her GODDAMN GOLD-DIGGER!!! Sorry for those refreshing ACOD for this recap after the episode air, I just lost the excitement I had before with this drama coz of Xi Wei..
