Episode 14: Can't leave, then love courageously.

The scene follow up with Hai Lin and Xi Wei being admitted to the hospital (huh?). Hai Lin calling Xi Wei in her dream and wake up only to be comforted by Qi Xiang that he's next to her bed. Qi Xiang told that he rescue them after seeing both of them sleeping like pig, thus Hai Lin say that she remember nothing other than feeling headache. Hai Lin say sorry for making another trouble for Qi Xiang again, Qi Xiang say it's nothing since it's not something new anymore and since can't let go then leave happily and told him if she's feeling down since the distance between them will never change. Hai Lin thank's him crying, and Xi Wei wake up.

Hai Lin ask what happened last night since she remember nothing, so Qi Xiang say it's nothing after that Qi Xiang come and rescue them (he forget or act like one?). Qi Xiang return with food only to see Hai Lin bed empty, and Xi Wei told him that Hai Lin is being sent for further examination that he request since she hurt her head last time swell. Xi Wei thank's him for saving him and also apologise for hugging Hai Lin. Qi Xiang ask if he really like Hai Lin judging from his expression on the lift, and ask him a point for Xi Wei is better than Qi Xiang. Xi Wei say he did not know, Qi Xiang say he also did not know but Hai Lin loving him is destined from previous live and told Xi Wei to take care of Hai Lin since they'r not really dating and it's only an excuse for him not to brother Hai Lin. Qi Xiang then admit that using that method it only make Hai Lin more unhappy, Xi Wei ask why he told him those things. Qi Xiang admit that he love Hai Lin but Xi Wei is the only person who can make Hai Lin happy, and that's the only point he's good in. Qi Xiang give the Bliss bracelets to Qi Xiang for him to return it to Hai Lin since it will make her happy.

Hai Lin, Xi Wei, and Qi Xiang stand before G-pa and Xi Wei announce that buffalo design is exactly like theirs. G-pa then ask how he can get a copy of buffalo design and Xi Wei admit that he stole them from the factory office, at first g-pa is unhappy until Hai Lin explain that it's the only way to do it since for Xi Wei it's very important (company). G-pa then say that he will discuss the matter with his lawyer but then praise his courage despite the method. G-pa also thank's Hai Lin and Qi Xiang for helping out his grandson and ask Hai Lin to play chess with him in the future again.

Xi Wei thank's Hai Lin and Qi Xiang and offer them over dinner, but Qi Xiang reject. Both Xi Wei and Hai Lin end up at the restaurant, Xi Wei determine to know her more since previously only chat about works. Hai Lin ask why he's suddenly speaking like that, and Xi Wei say since she understand him very much already and ask for the chance. Hai Lin cannot respond to it so Xi Wei ask if it should be approved by Qi Xiang first and Xi Wei bluntly admit that Qi Xiang told him that they're not dating. Hai Lin seem surprised that Qi Xiang told him, Xi Wei say he know that he's trying to protect Hai Lin since he will do it too if it was him since his appearance bring her allot of unhappiness. Hai Lin say that Xi Wei know she's the type of person who live in the past and he will not be able to understand her past. Xi Wei say that he did not want to understand though he got many question about her past, he also ask allot of question that let her unable to face him so from now one he did not want to be the person who let her down, and ask if they can walk out of the past together. Hai Lin ask together walkout from the past, and Xi Wei say since she live the past miserably and for the past five years he have to hold those responsibilities, so it's the time for them to be their true self. Hai Lin at first say she's afraid that she will not be able to do it only for Xi Wei to assure her that he will always be by her side.

The waitress serve the special menu, roll egg. Xi Wei say it's where their first misunderstanding arise and ask for another opportunity, and Hai Lin just smile eating the egg roll. Both have a walk at the park, Xi Wei say it's the first time they had meal together but something fill missing so he ask if she would like to play next time, riding bicycle also to check her ridding skills. Hai Lin sneeze, so Xi Wei take off his scarves and put it on Hai Lin only for Hai Lin to recall those happy moments.

Xi Wei back home all happy, so Xiang Kai if there's improvement in the company or Hai Lin. Xi Wei say it's both and make Xiang Kai all furious when he heard that Xi Wei have got his hands on buffalo blue-print. Xi Wei receive a call from G-pa asking him to come over, so Xiang Kai follow.

G-pa say that the lawyer compare and verify that it's the same blue print, but the Lawyer say they'r unable to file lawsuit against them since the evidence is being illegally obtain it violate legal procedure justice, and not only that the other parties are able to file lawsuit against them for copying. Xi Wei then ask if there's any other way, the lawyer shake his head. Uncle then provoke saying Xi Wei did not understand things and gone to steal things and if the rumours spread not only tornado will be affected but Lu group as well. Uncle say that directors force him in regards of the manager and say that if something is not being take care off the company will go bankrupt in 3days. Qi Xiang then announce that buffalo called company earlier and say that if Tornado agree to become their subcontract factory Buffalo are willing to pay signed contract money to solve their financial problems. Xi Wei object the idea of signing the contact since then it will make them admit that they did copy their design. Uncle say it's the only way to save the company financial problems and if Buffalo find out that Xi Wei stole their blue print not only they will loose face he will also rot in the jail. G-pa agree to sign it first and told uncle to shut up (uncle: becoming their subcontract will only be a few years, bla bla bla) and continue that he also did not want to become subcontractor to people who copy their design but they got no choice but to get more evidence to protect Xi Wei fathers company. G-pa told Xiang Kai to be the representative for signing the contract, and Uncle ask who's going to be the manager (all happy hoping it's Xiang Kai being in charge) only to be told he's the one to drag (responsible?) if he's unable to then he will also forget about his vice-president position as well..

At the press conference, both company representative is being ask a series of question and we get to know that the contact last for 10 years. At home Hai Lin is watching the press conference only to get letter, surprised and called Xi Wei immediately to go to the press conference. After series of question they start signing and changing contracts. Before Qi Xiang able to put his signature on the contract he think to himself that after signing the contract Xi Wei will not be able to stand in front g-pa anymore. Fortunately Hai Lin come in the right time telling the press that she got evidence Buffalo is copying Tornado design. Hai Lin introduce herself as Tornado speed and reach product patent owner. One of the press ask isn't that it's being design by Qi Xiang, Xi Wei say it's true but he's using Hai Lin name in the application form and ask Buffalo representative if the did file an application for patent right. The representative say that he did and it's being lodge on the 29th of march. So Hai Lin pull out her certificate indicating that it's being lodge on the 20th march which is her birthday and it's a gift from Qi Xiang. Xi Wei than ask if he did lodge then who's the one helping him with the design, and the representative start sending signal to Xiang Kai and Xiang Kai just tear the contracts and thank's Hai Lin and Xi Wei while the representative is being swarm by the press.

G-pa then ask what Xi Wei is going to do, Xi Wei say he's going after condition settlement which Uncle say that they will sue them and get the most out of the compensatory. Xi Wei then say that he will only seek the compensation for their R&D expense and make them their subcontractors since they have lost their reputation with all the scandals they are involved and this is for the benefit in long terms. G-pa praise him so did Xiang Kai, and g-pa give him back Xi Wei original position. G-pa dismiss everyone except for Hai Lin and Xi Wei.

G-pa say that they really have fate with Lu family and told Xi Wei to reward Hai Lin in exchange for her help through ups and downs. G-pa then say with Hai Lin beside Xi Wei he's well assure, and told Xi Wei to take care of Hai Lin. All the exchange is being heard by the eavesdropping Xiang Kai.

Xi Wei and Hai Lin went to Qi Xiang workshop only to be told that he left for New York 3-4hours ago, and Qi Xiang left Hai Lin a letter. Hai Lin look down so Xi Wei ask why, Hai Lin say that there's still unspeakable thank you so there's something weird left, and how big intention needed in order for Qi Xiang to put Hai Lin name in the patent certificate which not only can be done by a word thanks'. Xi Wei say no wonder Qi Xiang got no reaction during the time Buffalo rumour spread when he got a counter plan. Hai lin say they went through all sorts of hardship together that his departure is something very hard to accept, so Xi Wei ask if what she felt will be reveal. Hai Lin say that she also did not know how to tell since his concern care and forgiving her headstrong is just that kind of close friend and unable to accept his feeling she also feel sorry. Xi Wei then say that with his leaving he also wish her happiness and Qi Xiang leaving is not only forgiving but a kind of respect for her to live her life, also say that if she feel out of place he can stay beside her taking care of her since both of them wish her good.

Hai Lin read the letter at home "Hai Lin, I won't call you foolish lady anymore, I always say that you wipe off and leave the past but from the moment I decide to leave for overseas I only know/realised that wipe off and leave is not that easy. Thank You for helping me walkout from Xi Shan (ex-bf) guiltiness, the same I also hope you to walk out from the past shadow. Life is in you own hand only you can protect it. Since you did not want to leave Xi Wei side then love courageously, who say that if you and Xi Wei in love with each other he will die again? The heaven/god will not be that cruel towards you. In addition you should already receive the patent right also congrats in helping Xi Wei once again. Hope the birthday gift that I sent you will let you be more courageous. In place of you cheer up, give you blessing is the only last thing I can for you. At last live this moment you will meet more and more good things. Work then, if you want to leave at the workshop or go back to Tornado you decide it, I have no right to interfere you anymore. Looking at this for sure you're crying again right? Wipe the tears off, smile for me to see. Remember I'm in your one body spin distance viewable. Qi Xiang" Hai Lin open the birthday gift and hand the dram catcher beside her bed.

Tornado employee welcome Xi Wei and Ya Li back.. Xi Wei say his part that all he do is fulfill his part and thank's them for all their never ending dedication during the time. Ya Li and Fei Fei all lovely dovey. Ya Li ask Xi Wei what happened with his face being unfulfilled. Ya Li then guess it's Hai Lin that's missing from the company that make it something weird in the company. Ya Li then ask if there is no progress between them after her sending him home after being drunk and helping him with the blueprint. Xi Wei shake his head, Ya Li say only if he give 10% of his working attitude to this matter and suggest XI Wei to go after Hai Lin since now Qi Xiang has left for overseas. Xi Wei then ask her go for date, Ya Li then say like going for movies or afternoon tea and XI Wei say he will consider.

Fei Fei walking around the corridor, and Ya Li see her. Ya Li say that he always look at XI Wei to wrap up all the matter faster so that he can see her again and ask if she miss him. Fei Fei joke around not to think highly of himself but later admit that she feel lonely that no one ask her out for dinner nor lunch. Fei Fei then give Ya Li handmade biscuit, speaking of Hai Lin Ya Li told Fei Fei too speak a few good words about Xi Wei. Fei Fei say don't forget that she's Xiang-Lin ship, but Ya Li say Qi Xiang leave already.

Xi Wei get a call from Ya Li, while Hai Lin get a call from Fei Fei. Both Ya Li and Fei Fei ask Hai Lin and Xi Wei out during the weekend. Xi Wei and Hai Lin sense something unusual but give up later on. And this is the plan that Fei Fei and Ya Li pull.

The day come, Xi Wei meet Hai Lin they wait and wait but only to realised that their respective partner did not show up. So they end up together playing. First they ride the couple bicycle, they are being beat by a couple boy then a girl couple making them the 3rd in place. Little did we know that the did hold mini competition and Hai Lin sense up that he got competition spirit. Hai Lin say after loosing to them he still did let them go, and XI Wei say it's to make them think highly of themselves. HAi Lin ask if it's what his dad teach him, and Xi Wei say it's not it's something that he think himself and he's going to teach it to his kids later on. They both smile and they enjoy their time playing basketball, shooter, and mole hitting.

After playing they are being shot by strangers passing by that hand the, over the polaroid films to them saying that he capture them because they look very sweet and Xi Wei give it to Hai Lin as souvenirs. The went to a food-vendor, to see a sign wall. They both sign on the wall, the fish-ball soup they order being served and they both fish out the celery and both speak out the same thing, they laugh and at the same time Xi Wei hits Hai Lin forehead. Hai Lin ask why, and Xi Wei told her that if two people speaking the same they can make a wish. Hai Lin ask what is his wish, Xi Wei just say that in the right time she will find out.

The stroll along the beach, sit down at wood plank. Hai Lin say never one day she think that she will be able to go out with GM but Xi Wei say nothing is impossible since she save him 5years ago. then Xi Wei ask if she remember one she told him that letting paper boat float in the river also take all the worries. He then told Hai Lin the same goes as well with shouting at the top of their lungs at the sea side can calm down, XI Wei try it first and his wish "I, Lu Xi Wei want my own life, I want to go as my heart wish, live happily". Hai Lin repeat after Xi Wei action "I, Xu Hai Lin I want to go as my heart wish and live happily." and again "I, Xu Hai Lin, I want my live in my hand gasps (control). God, you won't be that cruel towards me right?" and Xi Wei say no since she had been living very hard and god won't be that cruel towards her.  

My thoughts:

I don't think I can see Nylon in the future on the drama, but I hope I'm wrong and that he will come back. Happy that Xiang Kai make the right choice though, he's just like a stepping stone in this drama the good guy and that ol-angel.. Owhh it's a roller coster ride for this episode, many happy moments but it's just an awfull ride for I have to see Xiang Kai face upclose for a few good minutes.. Drama oh drama.., if I was Buffalo representative (David) I'll drag Xiang Kai to hell as well, I would just tell the press right away that he bought the blue print from Xiang Kai for 200k, but after all it's drama right? If David told the press then that's it the end.. What do you guys think? Xi Wei really forget what Hai Lin told him inside the lift or he just pretend?
