戀戀不忘 Loving, Never Forgetting Recap Ep.10

Disclaimer: if you guys find my recaps is incomplete I apologise beforehand.. This is my 4th time watching this drama as I recap it, and I notice different site/video sometimes is slightly different so I'll be recapping as the one I'm currently watching..

Episode 10

Li Mom tell Wu Tong to tell her price and she will corporate willingly. Li Mom say that every month she have 20k RMB and she send Tong Tong to the best kindergarden in the are and with living cost how much is she left that she can give Tong Tong a good environment to grow up. Wu Tong say that in this world not all mother is as rich as her but she believe that all mother love is the same, though she could not give Tong Tong the material but she can give him love, teaching to grow up as a better person. Li Mom tell her that she did not have to act anymore since they all know what she wants, not to say Zhong Mou did not want to marry even if he wants with her background the possibility is zero, and stuff Wu Tong a blank cheque. Wu Tong tell her she's thankful and she have accept her kind wish but still the same old saying that she will not sell this kid even if they buy with the whole Li Group.

Wu Tong come out in one piece, as the three of the sits for dinner Zhong Mou ask if his mom make things difficult for her hope she did not mind. Wu Tong say she has come prepared and no matter how much difficulties she's faced with she will bear it for the sake of Tong Tong.

Wu Tong find two paper bag that contains long dress and high heels. Wu Tong text Xiang Jun asking if he like to send woman clothes since this is her second one after knowing him.. Xiang Jun told her to sleep early and stop looking at the document.

At the party, the guest gossiping that the party is held to look for son-in-law.. Zhong Mou and Man Di walk in hand on hand only to be followed by Xiang Jun and Wu Tong. Wu Tong turn many heads that night, including Jian Dong and Zhong Mou.. And well the appearance of Wu Tong with Xiang Jun sour someone mood. Jian Dong say that a sparrow has turn into a phoenix.Wu Tong and Zhong Mou keep on steeling glances.

The party start, and somehow Director Liang, Ye Qi, Wu Tong, Xiang Jun, Man Di, and Zhong Mou end up together. When Wu Tong try to leave, Man Di grab two champagne glass and give one to her asking if she like the wine(?). Wu Tong try the wine and say that it's sweet, and Man Di then say

"Every glass is elaborately mixed, they are just like story. You should know how to savour to realise the taste of them. People who taste it sweet at their taste bud only test it at the tip of their tongue, people who taste it bitter at their taste but test it near the end of their throat. Ms Wu only taste at the tip of you tongue and just swallow it that let people feel miserable, and she had been unfair to that glass of wine. This glass of wine is concentrated that feels like honey conceal the bitterness. At the start it taste sweet but it immediately taste bitter that surge someone heart. Sweet first then bitter, one bitter one sweet only then you can get happiness. Ms Wu this is your first time attending this kind of party right? No wonder, don't understand no problem in the future engage in more aspect of the society then slowly will understand how to savour wine." 

Zhong Mou and Xiang Jun looked equally pissed, director Liang only nod approvingly. Wu Tong then reply Man Di

"Me and my son all long is poor. I don't have money to buy him presents he's a bit depressed, then I tell him a story. At the grassland there's a pair of mother-son monkey, then one day the son ask mommy where's happiness. The mother told him that happiness is on his tail, and the son keep on running after the tail but no matter what he's unable to bite it. Mommy monkey laugh and said fool, happiness is not obtain like that as long as your in high spirit moving forward then happiness will chase after you. Ms Man Di, perhaps my perception of happiness is different from you, you feel that drinking this pretty wine and able to taste them is happiness, but for me as long as I can move forward in high spirit only drinking still water is also a happiness." 

Xiang Jun and Zhong Mou smile, Director Liang also nod in approval, only Man Di face turn sour.. Big time Man Di.

Ye Qi drag Xiang Jun to the bed room, Xiang Jun say if other people see this they will easily misunderstand. Ye Qi ask what to misunderstand they grow up together since small and if she's not younger then maybe from the past they would have betrothal. Ye Qi then told Xiang Jun that she have like him since 12yrs old and it had been 10yrs, and since they are looking for son-in-law he's the perfect match. Then Xiang Jun guess she's the one who use her dad to call him, but Ye Qi say that it's that his father will be coming. Ye Qi then ask why he always hide from his dad, only to be told by Xiang Jun not to meddle on his family affair.

Wu Tong find Director Liang to talk about the project only to be disturbed by Zhong Mou. Wu Tong then self explain that she came because her manager told her to do so before walking away. Wu Tong stop mid way when Zhong mow told her that tonight she's very pretty. But Xiang Jun come and say too bad since this princess is his girlfriend. Man Di come and ask what are they up to and ask why no one is dancing. Xiang Jun then offer to dance with Man Di. Man Di then ask she's shocked to find his dancing partner is non other than Wu Tong and ask if she's really his girlfriend and if it's because of Zhong Mou. Xiang Jun say Zhong Mou snatch Man Di from him so this would be only fair.

Ye Qi see Xiang Jun and Man Di dancing happily, feeling devastated she ask her self what's up with that guy.. Ye Qi then meet with Wu Tong and ask what is her relationship with Xiang Jun. After telling her that he's her lawyer, she come to the party because they were best friend and she's only helping Xiang Jun. Finally Ye Qi understand why from the list long of girlfriend Xiang Jun pick her as his dance partner.

Ye Qi and Man Di cross path, Ye Qi say that she's not as good as Man Di in dancing since actress is better at studying those things compared to commoner. Man Di say not always it also depends on talents, but remind her that Xiang Jun is not a good dancing partner since he's not focused because there is too much woman waiting to dance with him yet he did not understand how to turn down. Ye Qi ask in detail, and Man Di say he's extremely interested if the woman got something to do with Zhong Mou.

Xiang Jun see Wu Tong in pain and help her, and Zhong Mou witness this exchange. When Xiang Jun is away to grab a glass of warm water Zhong Mou told her to be careful since everyone know she's his son mother and be careful not to hurt his son nor his image. Things is getting out of hand, Wu Tong ask what right did he have to whom she make friends with, Zhong Mou say he would not care if she's not his son mother and remind her to be careful of her action or she will never see Tong Tong again.. Xiang Jun come and the two almost fight, before Li mom and the rest come and ask what they are doing.. Xiang Jun say he's afraid that Li mom will be disappointed seeing that until this time his dad hasn't show up, and told her to wait like how she had always been.

Wu Tong say she feel beed for messing things up, and Xiang Jun say normal men will act like him on that condition. Wu Tong then tell him Zhong Mou will not be that angry if he did not say she's his girlfriend, but Xiang Jun say she's indeed his best girl gender friend. Wu Tong then ask who is Xiang Yi. Xiang Jun pull over and buy a cup of hot beverages, and told Wu Tong that Xiang Jun is his biological father. His mom pass away when he's around 1yrs old, his father is busy with his business and he only got a chance to meet his father once a year which is on his birthday. He's brought up by his paternal grandmother, and when he left to study abroad he never miss home like other kids do. Xiang Jun say he never receive that parents love that's why he never believe in family affection. Wu Tong then remind Xiang Jun that not everything they see is the reality. Wu Tong then tell a story, that long time ago there's a boy who hate his mother very much it's because when he's small grandma is sick and they are very poor and left with a bit of rice to make congee, but what he see is that mom secretly eat it, only after his mom pass away he learn the truth that actually the rice fall into stove ashes and since mom did not want Gma to eat dirty rice and unwilling to waste that's why she eat it herself, just because he never give mom the chance to explain he regret it deeply. Wu Tong then remind him that no matter what their family do, give them a chance to explain also give himself a chance. Xiang Jun thank's her.

Thoughts:

Did I smell jealousy here? HAHA!! Zhong Mou so you can date while Wu Tong not? Where's the logic behind it., just admit you're being jealous as someone snatch your toy... For Man Di I feel bad for her thinking she can step on Wu Tong in front of everyone.. OMG!! Big star act like that? Someone should send her to personality/character school again lor...
