Episode 13: You're my ex-boyfriend

You Xi come rushing in asking when did it (photo) happened. Xiang Kai say don't panic since it's in the past and pass the menu to her to order and offer her a glass of wine. Xiang Kai then say that last night when he went home he smell strong scent of alcohol and then he see Xi Wei on top of Hai Lai pretending to be drunk or really drunk and say that maybe he's hot blooded since nothing happened between them during that 5years, and say that he's the only one who understand her beauty. You Xi stand up to leave disbelieve that she loose from Hai Lin and Xiang Kai told her not to waste her time on unworthy people.

Xi Wei looking at article about the bike when suddenly You Xi charge in, Xi Wei ask if she's drunk and she say "drunk easier than sober, escape simpler than facing reality". Xi Wei told her to sit and off to make her a cup of tea when You Xi hold on to him and ask where he was last night. Xi Wei say that it's unnecessary for him to answer and You Xi ask if he did not want to hurt her of he did not dare to say. Xi Wei still reply the same thing and You Xi conclude that he did not dare to say and say that sharp horde she heard before and hard-cool expression she had meet before but she just want to know if he something happened between him and Hai Lin. Xi Wei told You Xi to respect herself, him and Hai Lin, then You Xi say she mind because all fire years long of dating he never kiss her and his heart is not with her anymore yet she still care if he ever touch any other women and ask if her love towards him is petty, low, and sorrowful. Xi Wei say he's sorry for making her sad, but You Xi say don't say sorry just give her one chance though she might not be able to win Hai Lin but let her know that she is not defeated and start to undress then Xi Wei stop her then say that though they are not able to be together but he did not wish her in his heart is that intolerable.
You Xi ask if that means she's still left in his heart and Xi Wei say it's let and offer her ride, You Xi then say is it because he did not want to see her anymore hugged him and say sorry for what she did before. Xi We say that she's to insecure about herself and hope that after they split she will be happier. You Xi say that the day Hai Lin born she never feel happy until she meet Xi Wei and just by a bit she's able to be his bride and say it's all because of Hai Lin that steal her happiness. Xi Wei say that problem won't lies on other people everytime and You Xi ask if she's the problem and told him that she will be next to him again.

At home You Xi finished a bottle of wine while crying before throwing her glass wine, then her mom come in. Her mom asking what is she crying and You Xi say say she did not know what to do that now Xi Wei did not want her and not even touch her, she feels like her heart is being shredded into pieces even more painful than dying and say that she did not want to live anymore before grabbing a piece of glass trying to kill herself. Mom trying to stop her asking what she's dong then slap her asking if she had created enough fuss and say that she's useless if she die then it completes Xi Wei and Hai Lin and though she(mom) lives she will also have no face,  take lot of trouble to give birth to her and her live did not worth any money ask You Xi mom. You Xi then ask what should she do, Mom say that women cannot depends on body, body cannot bind men continuously have to use brain and say that Hai Lin is smart cause she can act and say that at this state it;s hard for her to get Xi Wei back. You Xi then ask her mom to think of a solution.

You Xi sitting at a bar, then we see the solution/tips given by her mom, mom told her to think who will listen to her words who she's able to control or able to fall together. Then Xiang Kai enter asking why she ask him out at south a secret place and ask if she had things figured out already. You Xi say how is it possible and say that his word is true that Xi Wei had change of heart. Xiang Kai say that Xi Wei is useless since he will be the next successor to Lu group. You Xi ask why he is so sure and Xiang Kai say since it's the only way to match You Xi and it all depends if she's willing to give him one chance. You Xi say there's chance but let's see if he can treasure it or not, and Xiang Kai say that if it's to get on intimate terms chance of course he will cherish it ewwgross. You Xi say okay and asking him to help her breaking Xi Wei and Hai Lin, Xiang Kai ask if she's using him and if he's able to achieve it won't she go back with his cousin again. You Xi say that she lied to him for five years and that Xi Wei will not be able to accept her anymore. Xiang Kai ask if she's unable to see them well and You Xi say that though she and Xi Wei cannot be together anymore she will not give his hand to another people, also she did not want to loose to that third person daughter and ask Xiang Kai if he love her dearly. You Xi then say if he love her dearly then promise her and if he's able to accomplished it then she will be together with him. Xiang Kai then say if thing is successful will she let him be the bait, and you Xi say that there's no good to her for making him the bait and ask will he let her go if something like that happened. Xiang Kai then told her to show up on his friend party to show her off and for her to express her sincerity.

Xi Wei meet with buffalo representative, the representative say that they have been on the project from last year then finally Xi Wei say if it's possible for hi to see the bicycle blueprint. The representative say it's inconvenience since it's their secret and Xi Wei say that just to let him take a peak he will also unable to do anything and ask if it's because there's something he's hiding. The representative then excuse himself to important meeting and Xi Wei say that they will bring this meter to court.

During Xi Wei way out he's being called by A-De out. 

Qi Xiang look at the present he prepare, and called Hai Lin into his office. Hai Lin ask if he finally able to forgive her and then QI Xiang say that he call her in to give her the present. Hai Lin ask what the present for and Qi Xiang ask if she's that stupid to even forget her own birthday, and Hai Lin finally get that the dinner to prepared to celebrate her birthday. Qi Xiang give Hai Lin dream catcher, 

Qi Xiang then told about the origin that during 18th century north-america indy man hand down handicrafts and they believe that dream catcher can block bad dreams and bring beautiful dreams that they hang at the headboard. Qi Xiang then explain the reason behind giving her the dream catcher is that he know her past with Xi Wei is forever un-wakeable bad dream so giving her this dream catcher is hoping that she's able to walk out from the past and lead a happy life. Hai Lin say that she also hope that she can wake-up from this dream and start all new, Qi Xiang say that as well as she's willing she's able to walk out from the past and that god give her different live to rewrite and told her not to waste his good intention and told her to live beautifully. Hai Lin thank's him.

Hai Lin then ask in regards of the design if he's able to help Xi Wei one last time and Qi Xiang flare up instantly. Hai Lin say that she want an ending to this matter or not all Tornado employee effort will go down the drain. QI Xiang then break the bomb that he's going to New York the day after tomorrow for work but she's going along as well. And Qi Xiang say it's boss order..

Hai Lin go to buffalo factory wanted to meet someone but being turned down since there's no appointment. Then Xi Wei pass through buffalo factory and call Hai Lin. The two end up at a cafe, we then know that Hai Lin want them to show her the blue-print. Xi Wei ask if it;s Qi Xiang want her to do it, Hai Lin say no it's her own intention since they all have walked such a great deal and then the other company just copy it. QI Xiang then told Hai Lin that one of the ex-employee told him that the blueprint is being keep at the factory and the only way to get evidence is to break the factory. Then we see that the person A-De give him the factory routine. Then Hai Lin offer to go, but being turned down by Xi Wei. Half-through Qi Xing called her asking if she had packed her luggage and say that the check-in time is 04.30 in the morning. Qi Xiang then bid her safety on her way.

We then see Xiang Kai partying, telling the party lady that she's no match to him so the lady want to see who's his girlfriend. Then You Xi come to the room, Xiang Kai able to recognise you Xi out that it's Xiang Kai cousin fiancé.. Xiang Kai then left You Xi behind to play with his drink buddies with his phone as well. At that time Xiang Kai handphone rang and You Xi see the phone the caller id was from Jason. You Xi took the photo and went to the toilet, You Xi try to crack the password several times until she try You, it unlocks then feels disgusted. Xiang Kai then want's to go to toilet only to realise that his phone is gone, one of the girl thinks that You XI took the phone and there he goes panic. You Xi then see the message, between Xiang Kai and Jason and know that he's the one who trick her when suddenly the toilet door is being locked by Xiang Kai. Xiang Kai open all the door then at the last door he say You Xi did you take my phone and then barge in only to find it empty. Xiang Kai meet You Xi near the dance floor, he ask for his phone then ransack her handbag couldn't find anything he then get's angry, when suddenly one of the waitress bring back his phone asking if he lost it. You Xi is unhappy that he gets angry but she let it go since she's the one in need.

Back at home, You Xi look at the photo containing messages between Xiang Kai and David.

David: 20million (approx USD660k) wire to?
Xiang Kai: 0109-622-835-70
David: 20million to buy Fang Qi Xiang drawing is worthy.
Xiang Kai: There are opportunities for cooperation.

We then get to see flashback, that actually it's a mother lady that's waiting in front of You Xi cubicle.
Then on her way back she ask the waitress to return back the handphone to Xiang Kai. After the flashback ends You Xi say to herself "Xiang Kai you think you can get everything? I want you at very last have nothing at all"

Qi Xiang waits at Hai Lin house all happy to see her wide awake. Qi Xiang ask where's her luggage when Hai Lin say she has not prepared and decide that she cannot go with him because later on Xi Wei will go to Buffalo factory to take their blueprint and she want to help. Qi Xiang wanted to report it to the police only to be stopped by Hai Lin asking what did he want to do, only to be asked back.
Qi Xiang say living in Xi Wei shadow is she all grateful and say that he cannot respect her decision and because of Xi Wei she's being neglected and all the last five years she has been living her live pathetically. Hai Lin say only to see everything goes smoothly for Xi Wei that she can feel in peace and Qi Xiang told her to become his babysitter hahaha!! Hai Lin say why he have to look at everything from his point of view when there's thing she want to go after and etc and that's what's her life is and ask back at the time of his devastation state people say anything he even won't listen, and it't not helping her but forcing her to do so. Qi Xiang then say back then she's willing to walk out of the past but Hai Lin say it's just that she couldn't let it go and she's unable to forget him. Then Hai Lin say

"such a deep feelings isn't it love? If can, if can I also hope that I can let it go but 5 years. 5years feelings, everything just feels like it just happened yesterday. How can I forget the first time we date, first kiss, first time celebrating birthday, he propose to me, he have kid and then car accident. That blank five-years, only let me miss him more. Only till I meet him again, I feel when step on the ground it's firm, I only then feel I have breath, I only then know who I am, I'm Xu Hai Lin. This time though Xi Wei did not love me, I also want to love him. Though I'm just his accessory, I will have no regrets."

Qi Xiang then say that he did not want to see her continue like this and Hai Lin say that he understand her he's the only one that know her unbelievable past. Qi Xiang say because he know her past he feel sorry and he want's to protect her, and Hai Lin push his hand away from her to tell him that she's grateful for being able to see him at a body-turn-around distance but sorry for being able to say thank you only.

Qi Xiang then think back to the happy memories both of them share together, while crying.

Xi Wei in front of the Buffalo factory, he go in after the security guard. The security guard turn off all the electrical power and for the last round check only for Xi Wei to go to the office located on the factory. He look for the blue print at the cabinet. The security guard turn back again and Hai Lin see this, she called Xi Wei and he security guard heard the ringtone, Hai Lin go in as well. When the security guard is in front of the office Hai Lin purposely drop the metal pipe so the security come to her. That time Xi Wei make his way out only to be pulled aside by Hai Lin, they then enter the Lift. Only to drop the bracelets. Hai Lin say it's good that she come or he will be arrest by the police, but then ask how are they going to escape. Xi Wei say that after 20mins there's going to be change in shift and think for the solution later on, only to have the electricity being cut off again. Both being trapped on the lift, no signal to contacts outsider. They then see the blueprints to see that it's exactly the same, and Xi Wei say that he's going to ask for the right compensation, he then try to open the lift while Hai Lin seem to be running on short breath.

Qi Xiang at the airport check-in and to cancel Hai Lin ticket. He then see the photo he had with Hai Lin, bitter sweet smile.

Xi Wei still trying to open the lift door, then he realise that Hai Lin almost faint. Hai Lin told him that she got headache and she feels like falling asleep. Xi Wei say that she cannot slip and instruct her to look at him and talk (Deja Vu of Hai Lin to Xi Wei during the car accident?). Hai Lin then start blabbing, "this is my first time this closely looking at you. You're still the same, nothing change" "You're not him, You're you" "In my world, should not have you. In your world also should not have me".
Xi Wei then ask what is she talking about, and that he did not understand anything but he only wants them to be together. There Hai Lin go blabbing again "Together? That's past-life matter or next-life matter, but this life-time it's impossible. It's my choice, Xi Wei I only want you to be happy" she then half-collapse, Xi Wei hold her and ask from the first time they meet she always help him and when being asked she never told him the real deal is it just because he resemble his ex-bf that much. Hai Lin then say "it's exactly the same. If I say you're my ex-boyfriend will you believe me? You did not believe, at first I also did not believe until I meet another choice." Xi Wei then say he believe and told her to keep going, at the time Hai Lin consciousness starting to wear off but magically she still blabs to her heart content

"I once pay a price with most expensive things just to revive you. Then whole 5years go by days w/o you, until I meet you again. (XW: what did you do that 5yrs?) Trying to forget you. (XW: did you remember what I did that's most memorable?) there's, hold my hand, kiss me, celebrate b'day together, when I perform you come to backstage to give me surprise. You also say before that I'm yours so my kiss is your's as well. (XW: anymore?) then I reply you'r kiss is mine, but don't know if now it's still. (XW: Yes, of course yes) Then you propose to me, give me ring, I give you Bliss. Long time ago I decide to give all the happiness to you. (XW: Stupid, you give all you'r happiness to me, then how about yourself?) I have you then it's enough, before also now also, because I really love you. Though if I die also no problem. (XW: You won't die) Xi Wei kiss me okay? (XW: okay)."

Hai Lin then this time really unconscious when Xi Wei trying to kiss her.

The lift electricity back, then we see it's Qi Xiang surprised Hai Lin at that state.

My opinion:
What's up with the dream catcher? Inspired by Heirs (Korean drama) huh?? Nyehh.. I just still don't get it at the toilet the one You Xi use is the same cubicle with the one Xiang Kai open but why when You Xi use it's clean and when Xiang Kai open it's full of things? I just hate how Hai Lin say she's willing to let go the past and the next twilight she say she's unable to let it go. Let's bet that Qi Xiang see the bliss bracelets that's why he's able to find them.. I don't quite like this episode since for me I do feel it's unnecessary, dragging and too much drama happening all together. OMG I feel like poking Xiang Kai eyes, seriously that eyes just creep the hell out of me, damn disgusting *no offence*. Qi Xiang is just pure love, just *don't know why*...........

I'm sorry for the mess on the last paragraph, the last quote is Hai Lin lines but the one in brackets is Xi Wei lines..


Anyway I want to wish ACOD readers a very Happy Chinese New Year. Wish you a prosperous year, good health and may all your hopes be fulfilled.. Off I go preparing all sorts of yummy goodies for CNY, leave a comment bellow on how you guys celebrate CNY this year *ifyoudo* I'll be celebrating it at my grandparents house this upcoming thursday for a big family-gathering meal and I'm looking forward to friday to receive lot's of red pockets. It's the happiest day *ithink* for most people who's unmarried.
